Michael DiSanto, Gregor Pryor and Zack Dong are the Co-Managing Editors of Global Startup Blog.
Michael is a partner in Reed Smith's Silicon Valley office, where he represents emerging growth and publicly traded companies, as well as the institutions and entrepreneurs that finance them. From 2003-2006, Michael was the Founder/CEO and General Counsel of a San Francisco-based Internet company. His experience at that start-up provides clients with a unique business perspective when dealing with complex legal issues and how those issues ultimately impact their companies.
Gregor is a partner in Reed Smith's London office, where his practice focuses on advising digital media networks and platforms on the acquisition, production, licensing and distribution of content . He also advises companies that are involved in the distribution and sale of digital content, such as social networks, online retailers, aggregators, network operators, platform owners and search engines, regarding their arrangements with content owners and consumers.
Zack is counsel in Reed Smith's Beijing office, where he helps clients establish presence, sell products and license rights in China. Born and raised in China and having lived in both China and the US, Zack is familiar with the business and regulatory environments of both countries. His education and experience in both China and the U.S. help him better understand the legal and regulatory regimes of the two countries and the needs and challenges of Western companies doing business in China and Chinese companies entering the U.S. market.
