The Daily Journal recently announced its Top Deals Under $50 Million for 2009. Daewoo Shipbuilding's $49.5 million acquisition of DeWind topped the list. My partner, Catharina Min, represented Daewoo, which is headquartered in Korea. DeWind is a wind turbine manufacturer based in Irvine, California and Lubeck, Germany.
